Call for Images

Do you have photographs or illustrations of landscapes, gardens, and plants -- or people and animals in an outdoor setting?  Share your landscaping images and help enhance the Greenscapes Massachusetts program! 

The Greenscapes Massachusetts Coalition is seeking beautiful images to enrich our program materials, including the website, e-newsletter, brochures, displays, and the 2008 Greenscapes Guide distributed to approximately 85,000 households in eastern Massachusetts.  

By submitting an image, you agree to grant royalty-free use of your image for promotion of the Greenscapes Massachsuetts program. We prefer that you give ownershiop of your image to us; however if you prefer, we will gladly provide credit/copyright information when using your image.

Please email us your digital images in the highest resolution possible. Ideally photos will have been taken with a 4 megapixel digital camera (or greater) at the best quality setting. Optimal file format is an uncompressed TIFF or a high resolution JPEG (note that repeated altering and saving of a JPEG image will degrade the quality).  Illustrations should be scanned and saved as a high resolution JPEG or TIFF.

Option One: If you wish to give all rights to us, simply email us your image and in the body of your email, state “I give the Massachusetts Bays Estuary Association all ownership of my photograph”.

Option Two: If you want us to cite your credit/copyright when using your image, please provide contact, background, and citation information using the Excel template provided. Save the Excel file using the same name as your image file.  Email us both your photo and Excel file.
