Whatever plant you choose for your landscape, be sure to avoid invasives!
Did you know that some New England favorites, such as burning bush, bittersweet, and even some types of maples, are invasive? As of Jan. 2006, the MA Department of Agricultural Resources bans the sale of these and 137 other invasive plant species because they threaten the diversity of our natural landscapes.
